The World Choreography Awards is an annual live show that celebrates creativity and innovation by recognizing excellence in the art of media choreography. It takes place once a year in Los Angeles, CA.
It starts off with a red carpet event welcoming guests celebrities, industry dancers, choreographers, and directors. In the past, the show has been hosted by Kenny Wormald (Footloose) and Riker Lynch (R5, Glee, Dancing With The Stars). Celebrities who have attended (or received a “Choreo Award”) are Paula Abdul, Derek Hough, Travis Wall, Mandy Moore, Twitch (Stephen Boss); including the biggest YouTube influencers in the dance community.
The evening is full of live dance performances along with awarding the winners of each category. The winners receive a “Choreo Award” and one dance Icon receives the Joe Tremaine Legacy Award.
The award show is unique, exciting and has never been done before at this caliber. Help us celebrate the 8th annual World Choreography Awards!
